⚙️ Hi Operator,
Quick aside before we dive in—
When I was a COO, weekly business reviews, team stand-ups, and monthly check-ins nearly broke me.
I spent way too much time scribbling notes nobody read, chasing teammates who conveniently "forgot" their action items, and carefully crafting agendas everyone promptly ignored.
I eventually snapped (in a productive way) and convinced an engineer friend to help me hack together a tool.
The tool automatically structures agendas, captures action items live in meetings, and assigns clear accountability.
Quick ask: I’m looking for exactly 5 early testers who run recurring meetings and want to get their sanity back. If that’s you, reply to this email with HEY, and I’ll personally get you set up.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming...

Insight from Geoff Woods
Stuck working through a tough business problem?
Here's a technique that's helped me generate better solutions: instruct an AI model to interview you like a consultant.
Tell AI to roleplay as a specific type of expert (growth strategist, turnaround consultant, efficiency expert, etc.) and have it interview you about your challenges. One question at a time, building context before offering solutions.
Here's the exact prompt template to use:
You are an expert [operations consultant/growth strategist/efficiency expert] with 20 years of experience helping companies [solve specific challenge]. I need to [specific goal, e.g., 'reduce warehouse costs by 30% while maintaining same-day shipping']. Our current approach includes [2-3 current initiatives].
First, interview me by asking three specific questions about our operations, one at a time. After I answer each question, ask the next one. Once you have my answers, analyze them and provide five specific, actionable strategies that we haven't considered. For each strategy, include:
1. Implementation timeline
2. Required resources
3. Expected impact
4. Potential risks
Two quick tips to maximize results:
Be brutally honest in your answers - the AI can't help if you sugarcoat
If a strategy seems too obvious, ask the AI to generate more innovative alternatives
Voila 🎊
Between traditional brainstorming and expensive consultants, there's now a third option: getting grilled by an AI that thinks it's McKinsey.
And this consultant works weekends, never bills by the hour, and won't try to sell you a lengthy engagement 🤝
